Former Republican Senator Mitch Macconel (R-KY) fell on a small staircase on Wednesday after confirming the candidate for the residential and urban development liability Scott Turner.
McConnel, 82 years old and a childhood polio survivor, descended from the stairs to R-Mont. It was immediately helped by STEVE DAINES Senator and R-OKLA MarkWayne Mullin.

It is not clear whether he was injured, but Fox News was told that the former leader was OK.
The McConnell office did not provide comments immediately to Fox News Digital.
