Bride-to-be slashes fiance during fight over wedding venue: cops

An Wisconsin woman stabbed her boyfriend in the neck after she began a discussion with her future mother-in-law about the couple's wedding venue, authorities said.

“I woke up to text messages and screenshots between the defendant and his mother, which sparked controversy by using the couple's home as a wedding venue,” said the fiance of Brookfield, 22. ” According to Fox 6.

It is said that Brantner then incited the argument – it quickly became violent.

The victim has not been identified, but according to the complaints cited by the outlet, he was first to be his aggressive engagement after “attacking him without warning” when he returned home from work early. He told police he had driven away the person.

However, Brantner took him to the kitchen where he grabbed a knife.

“The defendant attacked him and tore his entire shirt,” the documents alleged.

The victim told officers that knife-wielding Brantner followed him to grab him in the basement.

She rushed at him, “and shook several times,” the victim slashed, complaining, “He was bleeding, but he didn't know where.”

According to Fox 6, Brantner swung the knife around at the victim several times.

Detectives from the Brookfield Police Station arrive and find the victim holding a towel around his bleeding neck. She told police she brought a towel for Bo, who was bleeding.

According to the outlet, the officer retrieved a bloody pink handle knife from the kitchen.

Brantner claims she was acting out of fear that her boyfriend would hit her, according to the complaint.

She faces first-degree reckless injuries and will return to court on February 13th.
