A Florida father celebrating his birthday was shot in front of his one-year-old son during an argument with a stranger inside Walgreens.
Anthony Souvenir, 27, was in Miramar Pharmacy with her son and girlfriend when she accused 28-year-old Jaime Taylor of staring at someone important.
Taylor was in the store for a few minutes loaded with money on his cash app when souvenirs entered with his family at 11:20am on February 3rd. CBS Miami reported Quoting Miramar police documents.
The souvenir is said to have been thought that Taylor was “looking at his girlfriend very hard.”
The two spoke for a while before leaving just to get the souvenir wrong with Taylor's phone, police claim.
“I'm not talking to you. I'm on the phone (let),” Taylor says, the souvenir girlfriend, according to a police report.
When the souvenirs noticed Taylor's gun, they began chutting each other before the discussion escalated.
“I see you have it. I got it too,” my dad said.
Threatened by the comments, Taylor pulled out the gun but did not fire it.
Taylor later told police that he fired a fatal shot when the souvenir reached into his bag.
After the shooting, Taylor fled the store, but handed over to Miramar police later that day.
He was arrested, charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Broward County Jail, according to records seen by the Post Office.
Taylor told police he was threatened by the souvenir and he believed he would be shot.
His girlfriend called the police and the souvenirs stayed on the floor inside the store.
He was declared dead at a nearby hospital.
His mother remembered him as a good son with a big heart.
“He was a great father. He loved his son and had big dreams for him. I remember talking to him and how excited he was for the future.” Linda's souvenir I wrote it on gofundme.
Death as a souvenir is extremely difficult for parents. His mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, putting a financial burden on her family.
“I've now been hit with another devastating blow while trying to recover emotionally, physically and financially. Losing my son has made this recovery process difficult,” he grieves. My mother wrote.
The souvenir dad called the death of his son a pointless murder and said that people could fight without using guns.
“People have too many guns. You can fight, but don't use guns. Guns are weapons that kill people,” he said. “If you have any issues, call the police,” Yves Souvenir told the outlet.
An older souvenir says his son was celebrating his birthday on Monday.
