WASHINGTON, DC – President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Americans are “people decreed by God” to live in “the freest and most exceptional nations” in world history I said.
Trump said Americans have regained their legitimate identities and touched on the fate of their manifesto and the themes of American exceptionalism.
“After years of decline, Americans are re-recognizing our true identity as God-designed people as the freest and most exceptional nations present on the surface of the earth.” He said. “But we haven't had that for four years.”
“We're getting there right away, right away. I'll be able to say that, and we can say it again,” Trump added.
Trump said he has heard optimism from leaders around the world, including those who have traditionally not been consistent with the United States.
I've heard it from a leader who has traditionally not been by our side… there's a very good feeling in the air. It's different from a while ago. I believe in myself. We believe in destiny and trust in the providence of Almighty God.
Trump also listed many illustrious feats achieved by the American people about American history. He says it was driven by the belief that America has a “godly given destiny.”
“And it was America that led the pioneers to travel west, to end slavery, to defeat fascism, to defeat communism, to conquer all the challenges we faced. It was a godly confidence in the fate of the gods.
Trump's remarks came just after he spoke to a lawmaker at the U.S. Capitol in the early morning. There, he shared his belief that God saved him in Butler, Pennsylvania in the summer of 2024.
