The enormous disappointment with Ben Simmons' net tenure is almost over.
The point guard, who missed 189 out of 246 games over two years in Brooklyn, completed the team's acquisition on Friday, according to ESPN.
He was removed from their game against the heat early in the morning and was listed as not with the team.
According to ESPN, the Cavaliers and Clippers will meet with Simmons on Friday, and the outlet added on Thursday that the Rockets are also expected to be interested in the 28-year-old.
Over 33 games and 24 starts this season, Simmons has collected 6.2 points, 6.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game with a net team shuffling new pieces in and out of the lineup in the deal.
And although they remained quietly at deadline, perhaps their most consequential move came a day later.
I've closed the chapter that went back to the end of Big 3.

And it officially ended a time when it felt unofficially reached conclusions long before Friday.
