On Friday, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) introduced a law to abolish the $95 million Fogerty International Center as part of the Trump administration's goal of “spewing government waste.”
“We are robbing government waste under President Trump's strong American first leadership and Elon Musk's government efficiency. As a member of the House Doge subcommittee, I have been stolen through this law. I'm doing my part in reducing the required taxpayer funding programs and centres,” Gill told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement.
He continued. “The Fogerty International Center has a history of funding projects that oppose American values and harm our country's global position. Last year, the US has nearly $13 billion in global health initiatives. “We're not going to spare a $95 million program to promote awakened agenda overseas and scrape taxpayer dollars.”
Fogarty International Center aims to advance the National Institutes of Health (NIH) mission by supporting and promoting US-based global health research.
However, as many Americans can see, the Center has been led by many efforts already led by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, leading international research.
Furthermore, the Centre has a distorted view of “global health equity” and is affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO). One of Trump's first inauguration actions was to withdraw from the WHO.
The Fogarty International Center funds many projects that do not appear to be in line with the Trump administration's agenda. This includes:
Gill's proposal serves as the latest initiative to reduce wasteful federal spending, particularly amid the efforts of the main government (DOGE).
“Councils and Doges have to find common sense ways to save money. Abolishing the Fogerty International Centre is a simple place. Written by Chairman Doge and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) In the article, Doge Chair and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said, “My Subcommittee works hard to pay back money to hard-working Americans, and those who waste more money than Washington.” not here.
“I am excited to conspire with the lawmaker Gill law. I look forward to him joining the Doge subcommittee to combat government waste, fraud and abuse,” she said. I added.
