As someone writing about live events, the most common question I am asked is, ” Should I buy tickets in advance for the game or the last one?”
Often I don't know. That's a mystery. Sometimes the team gets hotter and inflated the price. Alternatively, slump clubs and injured stars will have prices plummeted. All fans can really do is be diligent and monitor costs and strikes at the right time.
Either way, buying last minute tickets for this year's Super Bowl at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9th is a move if you want to go.
When our team first reported the cost of tickets for the biggest game of 2025 on January 16th, they started at $4,283 before the vibrant seating fee.
Eleven days later, the Traviskells Chief and the Saquon Barkley Eagles surged to $4,516 before the fee after winning the AFC and NFC championship games.
After that, prices began to fall. On January 31st, Supernora tickets (yes, we use the trademark) were found for as low as $3,467 before the fee. Our latest report shows that the cheapest seats were made for $3,152 before the price.
Now, about 48 hours before kickoff, fans can just grab the ticket $2,586 before the fee.
That's almost $2,000 (!) cheaper than what they were aiming for after Andy Reed and Nick Siliani's clubs close.
It's not a bad thing. Yes, tickets are still expensive but That's a steal considering you might be able to witness the Chief become the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls (i.e., the Super Bowl era), Kendrick Lamar's memorable halftime show and Possible Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift marriage proposal for a method, method, method, in less ways than you'd paid within two weeks.

About the Chief and Eagles matchup
Over the past 53 years, Kansas City and Philadelphia have only met 11 times.
For now, the Chiefs have a 6-5 advantage over the Eagles, including a thrilling 38-35 Super Bowl victory in 2023. Most recently, the club was squared in Kansas City on November 20, 2023. They got their sweet regular season revenge in that contest, winning 21-7 and defeating KC 14-0 14-0 in the second half.
In this matchup, Andy Reed's defending champions narrowly beat the Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship. Buffalo took a 22-21 lead in the third quarter, but they couldn't take advantage of the pivotal moment.
“It seems almost immeasurable to think about [Josh] Allen couldn't pick up a yard in a short yard situation, but the Chiefs defended those plays throughout the game,” the New York Post reported.
At Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Bird embarrassed Washington's start-up commander and scored a score to secure a 55-23 victory. Saquon Barkley rushed through three touchdowns on 15 carries, throwing one, and AJ Brown also caught an end zone pass.
But most exciting, the third string running back was hustled by Shipley to score the first score in his 22-year-old young career.
“Shipley passed the commander's defense on Sunday on his way to a 57-yard dash that nearly finished in the end zone before the defender caught him from behind,” according to the post. “With a ball on the two-yard line, Shipley waltzed into the end zone and a final point touchdown for the Eagles 55-23, when Berkley ran to the field to celebrate.”
