Rangers grind out comeback win over Blue Jackets

The Rangers won one final victory before the match action break in the 4 Nations face-off tournament, but cannot be classified correctly when they appear in the high notes.

Even after a 4-3 victory over Blue Jackets on Saturday night at National Wide Arenna, Bruce Heart still loses four of his last seven games, and ensures they're cutting off their work with a regular 27-game sprint Sho. The season finish line will return from an almost two-week hiatus.

Will Quill secured the victory by scoring third-term goals for both Rangers, with the final one being obtained only with 1:39 left in regulation.

Cuylle freely raided Columbus' failed attempt at clearing and blasted the 15th goal of the season to secure a victory.

Mika Zibanejad has gone 8 points (two goals, six assists) to the Swedes in the last five games and made a two-point effort back to the centre.

The 31-year-old Laser Shot tied the game in two games for the Rangers at the 6:38 mark in the second season, but the lingering issues with the Rangers defending Rush kept them biting.

Columbus forward James Van Reems Dick scored in the essentially empty net after the transition's tic tuck toe pass sequence gave the Blue Jacket a 3-2 lead in the second half of the middle frame.

It counted as the seventh straight game on the trail entering the third season of the Rangers.

The Rangers were disappointed with the efforts of Friday's third term, so they saw something better on Saturday night. Cuylle even managed to score for the third time within two minutes of the last 20 when the 23-year-old whipped the puck through traffic from long distances during a delay in the penalty.

Head coach Peter LaViolett emphasized the importance of a fast start during pre-game availability, and the Rangers were first delivered.

In his first game, returning to the lineup after serving as a healthy scratch in the previous four, Arthur Kariev opened up the Rangers' score with a sweet rap-around goal in under two minutes of the game.

However, the blue jacket took advantage of the rangers zone obstacle. Scoring twice in under a minute, Columbus managed to get a one-goal lead in the first break.

After Kent Johnson tied it from a sharp angle at the 14:31 mark, Justin Danforth, with the Rangers' slow back check, especially from Alexis Lafreniere, former Ranger Jack Johnson feeds the wings of the Blue Jacket I first reached the net because I allowed it to 2-1 before the score.
