The chief executive of Italian Salami and Prosciutto's company, along with two other victims, died in a helicopter crash in northern Italy on Wednesday.
According to Biassono Mayor Mayor Luciano Casiraghi, Lorenzo Robanyati was the chief executive of the Robanyati Food Company in Norsetto, near Parma, when the helicopter crashed.
The video of the scene shows dense fog around the area. The crash took place on the premises of Castelguelfu di Nosette, a medieval castle owned by the Robanyati family.
“I can't believe it: a sad day for Baisono,” Kasilagi said in a Facebook post translated into English. “Tonight, the mayor of Norseto called me, and I learned with shock and deep sadness, and the unjust end of our fellow citizen Lorenzo Lovanuti due to the tragic accident at Castelguelphou. I learned the news.”

“Lorenzo was a good, honest, hardworking young man loved and appreciated by everyone who knew him at the company and beyond.”
Kasiragi described 40-year-old Robanyati as “a young man who still had a big future before him, both as a father and an entrepreneur.”
“I [in] Distrust of what happened, local politicians wrote.
Baisono City observed the period of mourning from February 6th to February 8th. In another post, Kasilagi writes that Lorenzo and his family “have been active in the social and economic development of Baisono for the benefit of the entire community.”

“We will never forget him and we are always grateful!” the mayor said. “All I can say is that we are united in the pain of the tragic end of fellow citizen Lorenzo, expressing our intimacy with our family.”
Rovagnati produces various salmi or Italian anti-pasto meat, including Proscuitt, Salami, and Mortadella.
“Italian salmi is one of the foods that represents the Italian food culture and its value,” reads Rovagnati's American website. “All of our products are made in the typical Italian tradition. They are highly digestible, along with steam cooking, curing or brick oven cooking, which preserves the properties and natural properties of the meat. I guarantee it.”
