Patrick Mahomes looked like a snub running through Samae Perrine while shaking hands with his chief teammate who was blown away by the Eagles at the Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans.
The chief quarterback, who played one of the worst games of his career, skipped Perrine as he descended the bench at the end of a 40-22 loss at the Caesar Superdome on Sunday.
Perrine, who signed with Kansas City last August, appeared to be on her feet and moving to seek a handshake, but Mahomes detoured him for tight end Travisquels, as seen on social media videos.
A longtime teammate, close friends off the field, shared an emotional moment together.
They shared a short exchange and embrace, but it is unclear what was said.

Mahomes has sparked a stir on social media, with some calling moments when he appears to make Perrine “strange.”
Perrine – spent four seasons in Cincinnati before signing with Denver in 2023 – Mahomes hasn't worked on the moment as of Monday.
The 26-year-old played a key role in the Chiefs postseason. This earned a touchdown that won a match in the AFC Championship against the bill.
Mahomes was responsible for the loss of the Super Bowl in a message posted to his X account after the game.
“Thank you for all the love and support from #chiefskingdom. I defeated everything today.” Mahomes wrote. “I always work, learn, learn, and make it better. I want to thank God for every opportunity God has given me.
“We're back.”
Mahomes could not obtain the chief's attack.
He threw two interceptions, including a pick 6, including Cooper Dejan, the Eagles rookie cornerback who celebrated his 22nd birthday on Sunday.
