Jet owned by Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil involved in fatal plane crash

A private jet owned by Mötley Crüe's lead singer Vince Neil was involved in a fatal crash at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona on Monday afternoon.

Authorities say one person was killed and four others were injured when the landing gear on Neil's plane broke down.

According to records reviewed by Fox News Digital, Jet is registered with Wyoming-based company Hollywood, Inc.

Neil's lawyer confirmed with the Az Family that he was not on the plane.

“On the ship, Neil's plane was two pilots and two passengers. Neil was not on the plane,” the statement reads. “Neal's thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. He is grateful for the critical help of all first responders today.”

Scottsdale Fire Captain Dave Folio said people were trapped in small jets after the collision, but rescuers were able to free them from the wreckage. The person was transferred to a trauma center in a dangerous condition.

He said another person was taken to a trauma center in a critical condition, but was in a stable state with non-life-threatening injuries. The fifth person refused treatment, Folio said.

“Our thoughts and prayers are out to everyone in the aviation community that this has an impact on today,” said Kelly Quester, Aviation Outreach and Planning Coordinator at Scottsdale Airport.

“After landing, the Learjet 35A was off the runway and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on a ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona at around 2:45pm on Monday, February 10th,” the FAA said. It was stated in a statement.

Arizona Attorney General Chris Mays said she was “devastated” to hear about the crash.
