2 straphangers slashed in separate attacks on NYC subway during evening commute: cops

Two Strafanjars were cut off in the Big Apple subway system during the commute Monday evening after the victim began a discussion with the perpetrator, officers said.

The 28-year-old woman first cut her face at a platform at the 86th Avenue station, offering four and six rows on Manhattan's Upper East Side, around 6:30pm.

According to the NYPD, the victim and the unknown man fought through the attack.

About 20 minutes later, a 30-year-old man was erected in his neck and the two were caught up in a debate before being hit on the back on a southbound L-train pulling to Brooklyn's Wilson Avenue station by the suspect.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in a stable condition.

In either case, no arrests have been made.
