Almost a third of Gaza residents wanted to leave before the war, according to research data released by Palestinian Media Watch Itamar Marcus Jerusalem Post on monday.
It has almost certainly risen since the start of the war in October 2023, following Hamas' terrorist attacks on Israel.

The question being asked around the world today is whether President Donald Trump's plan to resettle Gazan in other countries can be successful. Judging from polls conducted just before the war and before much of Gaza was destroyed, Trump's proposal is reasonable.
Voting by the top voting institutions in Palestinian, the Centre for Palestinian Policy Studies, found that 44% of Gazan youth between the ages of 18 and 29 are considering moving. Almost a third (31%) of the total population considered migrant.
Gazan's “most preferred destination for immigration is Turkey, followed by Germany, Canada, the US and Qatar,” the poll found.
Last week, President Trump said that in addition to suggesting that most or all of Gaza's current residents should resettle elsewhere, the US intends to own Gaza unless alternative plans are found. Ta.
The Arab state had not offered to take Palestinian refugees from Gaza. Even during the war, even temporarily, doing so may have saved many lives and helped Israel quickly defeat Hamas terrorists.
