Shopify shuts down Ye website selling swastika shirts

On Tuesday, e-commerce platform Shopify shut down an online store belonging to rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

A Shopify spokesman who processed an order from Ye's Yeezy.com website confirmed with News Nation that it no longer supports the store.

“All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform,” the spokesman said. “This merchant did not engage in genuine commercial practices and violated the terms and removed them from Shopify.”

As of Tuesday morning, the online store appeared to be offline, replaced by a message that read, “This store is not available.”
