Tennessee Titans’ 4 biggest NFL Draft needs, ranked, and the prospects who could fill them

The 2025 NFL Draft is right nearby, and with this, each NFL team will set up a draft board and set the needs of future teams. The Tennessee Titans, who have their first overall pick, have the unfortunate honor of being a team with most holes. But how should these needs be ranked? Should they chase offensive linemen early or find a receiver? What do they do in QB?

Here's how I ranked Titan's biggest needs and the best outlook that suited my needs:

1. Quarterback

I think Titans head coach Brian Callahan had enough of both Will Revis and Mason Rudolph last year. Their play under the centre was too chaotic, a combination of taking bags, incorporating a terrifying intercept and sinking their passing game into depths of despair. There are many needs for Titans, but finding a reliable young QB is near the top of that board.

Best fit: Chedure Sanders, Colorado, Tyler Shaff, Louisville, Kyle McCord, Syracuse

2. Edge Rush

The Titans ranked 27th in the NFL, 27th in pressure ratio and 29th in the NFL. DT Jeffrey Simmons is a straw that stirs up drinks for the Titans' pass rush, but Edge Harold Landry has a potential contract and has not been produced since his injury. Getting some youthfulness and explosiveness in advance should be a priority.

Best fit: Abdul Carter, Pennsylvania, Jack Sawyer, OhioJah Joyner, Minnesota

3. Right tackle

Nicholas Petit Frere may have been the worst right tackle in football last year. His 6.0% blown block rate was eighth western in all football among a ton of correct tackles, but is especially bad for passing. The Titans will get a new right tackle that can become very important, especially when new QBs are centered around.

Best fit: Josh Simons, Ohio, Anthony Belton, NC statusCameron Williams, Texas

4. Wide receiver

Quick, can you name Titan's second leading receiver since last season? that's right. Te Chig Okonkwo was second at the reception, but the situation with the wide range of Tennessee receivers is disastrous. Outside of WR Calvin Ridley, the only receiver currently signed for the Titans is paired for 13 catches. If you have a new QB in Nashville, you need another reliable reception threat outside.

Best fit: Tetaroa MacMillan, Arizona, Jack Vech, TCUJaden Higgins, Iowa
