The text message revealed a wild moment when the boss boldly canceled the job offer, and workers were shocked.

Ben Askins is a workplace expert who has found a niche by sharing anonymous text changes online between bosses and employees.

The latest text exchanges have always accumulated over 400,000 views, and Askins seems to have been really blown away by it, calling it “silly.”

It all began when a woman named Kirsty received a text from her new boss.

The manager cancelled the woman's job offer before she began.

To be clear, workers had not yet started working for the company and had just received job offers.

She explained that she was just about to jump into the car and asked if everything was okay. The boss replied that it wasn't.

“We made the tough decision to withdraw the job offer,” the boss wrote.

The boss apologised and wished her good luck in finding a position elsewhere. Kirsty was shocked.

“What are you waiting for? I left my job last week and I'm scheduled to start next week! Are all the contracts signed?” she asked.

The boss replies that the candidate the company originally wanted to work with has returned to the photo, and that the company would pay her a week's worth of wages.

“I actually can't believe this. It's very unprofessional,” replied Kirsty.

The boss did not retreat and claimed he was “not an expert” as there were two candidates for the job, and unfortunately she came “second”.

Kirsty then asked if she could at least get a reference explaining the situation, but her boss declined and said she couldn't because the company hadn't seen her work.

“Thank you nothing,” she texted.

A few weeks later, the boss sent her a message again. Because he noticed that she had written negative reviews on Glassdoor, a website where workers can review workplaces.

She said the company's recruitment process was not an expert, and her boss claimed that the feedback was not “fair” and asked to remove the review.

Kirsty doesn't reply, and her boss sends one last text that says “Hello” and clearly wants a response.

The Askins slammed the boss and said at the last moment it was not okay to “pull out the rug” from someone and made them unemployed.

What's worse, it was even worse that my boss didn't own what he did.

“It's fine to prefer one candidate over the other candidates. That's the purpose of the interview process, but you just go down the path of choosing someone and you can't do that,” he said. .

Askins said if you do something like this, of course you are “bad” and “poor” behaviour.

Online, Kirsty was treated and people were scared in a vulnerable way.

Those who called text exchanges “wild” say another person says the whole exchange looks “worthy” and “not embarrassed” when it comes to how the same company treats people. Ta.

“That's so messed up,” he wrote.

Another said that the boss was “disrespectful” and many questioned whether the exchange could become a reality, as it didn't seem “realistic.”
