Anthony Rendon has played 257 out of 708 games since signing a $245 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels in 2019.
And it will take some time for him to play 258 days.

The Angels hit .319 with 34 Homer, 1.010 OPS and MLB leading 126 RBI during the 2019 season, and the highest dollar to Rendon at the peak of his career before the 2020 season. I paid. He played a major role in the Washington Nationals' first World Series title run that year.

Over the past two years alone, Rendon said baseball has been “not a top priority for me,” complaining about the length of his MLB season and volunteered to consider resigning soon after his major league career began. He also wielded the A fans around in 2023, leading to suspension.

Rendon has failed to play 60 games in the season since joining Halos, and averaged 51 games in that period. Along with the Nationals, he owned the .859 OPS and took part in the MVP polls in five separate seasons.
