Port St. Lucy – Clay Holmes rotation experiments are not experimental at all. That's the Cold Mets calculation, and the other one I'm betting works.
This is calculated by his mathematics-driven minions, the new Mets starter Holmes himself, and the Mets' Honcho David Stearns.
Stearns's team of analytical heroes, or frankly, he's not a Harvard degree. And I was not a straight A student like Holmes in my class either in Valedictorian. I'm not just speculating that Holmes could move somewhat seamlessly from Relief to Rotation, but I'm not simply believing that they know what they're doing.
Without a doubt, seeing the preacher's son and son's ex-star who tried to set up a man all over town last year is closer and certainly amazed many to see an all-around nice guy. It is not only the Stearns computer and his computer guys who embraced this surprising storyline, but also the amazing people who run the Orioles and Red Sox (Mike Elias and Craig Breslow, respectively). These two also pursued and imagined longtime Yankee and Division rivals as starters after going on for more than three years in the Bronks Bullpen.
