February 15 (UPI) – A lawsuit filed by a woman accusing rape comb of rappers Jay-Z and Shawn “Diddy” Combs in 2000, according to a court filing from a lawyer, when she was 13 years old, in 2000. I did.
On Friday, the civil lawsuit was “voluntarily fired for bias,” female lawyer Tony Busby wrote in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
The woman and her attorney admitted to NBC News in an interview that there was a discrepancy in her account when the lawsuit was re-evaluated to name Jay-Z in December.
She said to her memories of the night's events, “Not all facts are clear.”
But she confronted her allegations, said Attorney Buzbee and Antigone Curis.
On Wednesday, Combs sued NBCuniversal and its streaming service Peacock, airing the documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, accusing him of “shamelessly moving on to conspiracy theory.”
Jay-Z and Combs deny fraud.
“Today is a victory,” Jay-Z said in a statement, Sean Carter's real name. “A frivolous, fictional, and appalling allegation has been dismissed. This civil lawsuit has no merit and is not going anywhere. The fictional story they created is not due to the seriousness of the claim. It was hilarious too. I don't want this experience from anyone.
“When they quickly realize that their money grabs are failing, they can leave without affecting them. The system has failed.”
Combs' attorney, Alex Spiro, said in a written statement:
Jane Doe initially filed a lawsuit against Combs in October, adding Jay Z's name to the lawsuit two months later.
In the lawsuit, the woman said she was outside the New York City Video Music Awards and the limousine driver invited her to an afterparty. She said she felt Wessy after drinking a drink and was sexually assaulted.
Diddy has been at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York since September and has been around for assault and sex trafficking charges since September. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
