Americans have been battling the worst flu season for years

The US is in peak flu season, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says “seasonal flu activity continues to rise and continues to rise across the country.”
However, the case count varies depending on the condition. Each week, the CDC releases maps of influenza activities across the country.
The color-coded map shows the activity level for each state, from minimal to very high.
The latest map reflects data for the week ending February 8th, 2025.
