However, the Trump administration has exempted military personnel from wiping out budget cuts.

Musk accused Doge of aggressively cutting unnecessary spending under Trump. However, the cost reduction group faces scrutiny from Democrats over access to federal systems, including the Treasury payment system, and moves to cancel federal contracts and cuts at various agencies.
“This is a promise President Trump has campaigned for, and he's offering it now,” White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt told “Hanity” Monday.
