Warriors’ Jimmy Butler faces ‘crybaby’ slight from NBA great

Jimmy Butler saw his trade wishes given by the Miami Heat, but one basketball hall of fame was a “crybaby” about how everything went down I called it.

Tim Hardaway Sr. commented on Butler's final trade with the Golden State Warriors, during the arrival of SiriusXM NBA radio, when the former became a star in the 1990s.

“I didn't agree with what he was doing. You're on a contract,” Hardaway said.

“[Butler’s] baby. [He’s] They say no to you so crybaby. ”

Heat President Pat Reilly initially said the team had no intention of trading Butler in December after reports were released that he liked to move in.

Butler's response to this ultimately led to “behavior that was harmful to the team.”

What did Butler do? He reportedly left practice and missed a team flight for a road trip and stopped on both occasions.

Finally, a heat was donated before the NBA trade deadline and Butler was sent to the Warriors.

How Butler handled everything was something that Hardaway couldn't guess on his play day.

“We'd always say 'no' but we knew how to take it,” he explained. “It's what it is. That's a question. You get 'yes or no'. You may not like the question, but you can't deviate from the team and ruin it. ”

Butler has requested deals in the past, especially during the sour endings with the Timberwolves in Minnesota. But as James Harden and Kawi Leonard can prove, he is not the only NBA star to do so in recent seasons.

And, as Hardaway said, past stars also requested trades, but they were rejected. But how Butler handled the situation is different from what Hardaway saw.
