New York Governor Kathy Hochul is set to announce new state and city bills that add surveillance to the New York City Mayor's office, a source familiar with the governor's decision told Fox News Thursday. His recent cooperation with President Donald Trump.
Instead of removing Adams from his job, as reported by the governor, sources said Hochul could set up Guardrails and add independent monitors at city hall.
Hochul reportedly met with multiple New York leaders this week, considering removing Adam from his work.
Senior prosecutors in New York and Washington reportedly resigned after refusing to pursue a Department of Justice (DOJ) order to rescind the charges against Adams.

The former police officer-turned politician has been charged with charges related to wire fraud, bribery and solicitation of campaign funds from foreign sources. The indictment was sealed in September 2024, and Adams pleaded not guilty afterwards.

However, sources say Hochul is concerned about what is happening at city hall and is waiting for a US district judge to take control of the Department of Justice's motion to dismiss the lawsuit against Adams before making the announcement. I did.
