Isabel Harrison, who was primarily a backup for Angel Lease in Chicago, is the newest member of New York Liberty.
Liberty announced Friday that they signed 6-foot-3 veteran Harrison next season.
Harrison has inked the lowest unprotected veteran deal worth $78,831, league sources told the Post.
Harrison's arrival gives Liberty more frontcourt depth after losing Kayla Thornton to the Golden State Valkyries in the expanded draft.
Other reserve forward options in New York include Kennedy Burke and Nyara Savary. Raquel Carrera, Kaitlyn Davis and Esmery Martinez have been signed to a training camp agreement.
Director Sandy Brondello believes Harrison will have a “positive impact” in and out of court.
“We originally drafted her with Phoenix, but she has consistently demonstrated her ability to influence the game on both ends,” Brondello said in a statement. “Izzy's versatility and commitment make her ideally suited to the team as she strengthens her post-rotation and pursues another championship in 2025.”
Harrison, 30, has been in his professional career for 10 years, but has only played seven seasons in the WNBA.
She missed the entire 2015 rookie season and was drafted to Mercury with a 12th overall pick after torn her anterior cruciate ligament a few months ago.
Then in 2018, Harrison missed the entire season after dealing with an autoimmune disease.
Another knee injury left her seated for the entire 2023 season.
Despite her health history, Harrison continues to gain opportunities in the WNBA due to her experience, scoring ability and defensive potential.
Harrison doesn't have the same floor stretching capabilities as Thornton, but she can help with attacks as a screener.
Last season, Harrison averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds, but earned a 39.9% career from the field.
Liberty is betting that Harrison will convert with a better clip this season.
