Pennsylvania hospital gunman after shots fired, officials say

The shooter was killed after being fired at Pennsylvania Hospital in York County on Saturday morning, a spokesperson said.

Law enforcement responded to a 911 call around 10:45am on UPMC Memorial's “active threat,” and Ted Czech, a spokesman for the York County Emergency Management Department, told Fox News Digital.

No patients were injured in the incident, confirmed hospital spokesman Susan Manco.

“We received a confirmed report of gunman at UPMC Memorial and fired fire,” Manco told Fox News.

“The gunman has been arrested, the patient is not injured. The hospital is safe,” Manco said. “This is a fluid situation. Law enforcement is on the premises and manages the situation. We are grateful to all local law enforcement for their prompt response.”
