Elon Musk visits CPAC as DOGE makes major cuts

Elon Musk's remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday attracted praise from those who were pleased with the cuts made by the Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“I wasn't particularly interested in being political. That seems like I had no choice at any given point,” Musk wore a black maga hat and sunglasses at an event in Maryland. . “The actions we are taking with the support of the President and institutions are what saves Medicare and Social Security.”

“That's why I'm doing this,” he added. “Because I was looking at the big picture here, because it's like it's getting out of control.”

Doge has made headlines in recent weeks with the aim of paying subsidies through various cabinet bodies, aiming to spend on the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
