Popular treat products recalled due to undeclared ingredient

The chocolate treatment product was recalled after it was discovered that some bags could contain dairy products that are not on the label.

“Bayonne, New Jersey, Company Silkworm reminds me of Glick's Dark Chocolate Conette because it may contain undeclared milk,” said Kayco, published on the Food and Drug Administration website. The release of the film was stated on February 21st.

“People who are allergic or severely susceptible to milk pose a risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction when they consume these products.”

The recall started after the company's quality control department discovered that a “limited number of bags” that appear to contain dark chocolate conets actually contained milk chocolate varieties.

Milk Chocolate Conette contains milk allergens “not declared on the label.”

The recall only applies to packages with 02092024 as lot code, the release states. The number of bags that incorrectly contained milk chocolate products was not clear.
