California Gov. Gavin Newsom, d., wrote to Congress on Friday to seek $40 billion in funding for fire relief.
As Breitbart News reported, “Both bills passed to California to prepare to lead opposition to the Second Trump administration after a special legislative meeting called by Newsom after the election, when Newsom and the Democrats The ruling Congress has signed a deal to fund anti-Trump efforts, even if Palisade Fire and Eton Fire are still smoldering in Los Angeles.”
One $25 million invoice provides legal assistance to illegal aliens. Another $25 million is to fight other Trump policies in court.
President Joe Biden provided six months' worth of California before resigning. But the rebuild took years and Newsom – who launched an attack on Trump – is more pleading.
