Stuck Boeing Starliner astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry “Butch” Willmore are stuck in space for 264 days on a trip that should last about a week, but Williams' mom is honored by Snuff and she The daughter of the International Space Station says her daughter is happy.

But not everyone agrees. The NASA project manager posted that he is not excited to see astronauts get stuck all the time.

“They can't say, 'Hey, this sucks,'” says a NASA insider. “It's their job and they do a great job with it, but this wasn't their plan. There's a natural nuisance. But they're experts.”

The two astronauts exploded on June 5th in a Boeing Star Liner capsule heading for the ISS. They were initially expected to be on track for about a week.

However, Boeing vessels were constantly plagued by issues including leaks that malfunctioned the thruster. After a fierce debate with Boeing, NASA chose to return the spaceship unmanned and unmanned in September, with Williams and Whitmore stuck on the ISS.

The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, currently docked on the ISS, will be heading home as early as next month.

Williams told NBC last November that he didn't feel “stuck” in orbit, despite being in space much longer than the week he originally planned.

“Our mission control team and management have always had options for us to go home,” she said. “Yeah, we came here at Starliner. We're back to the Dragon, but there's always been a plan for how we'll get home.”

An interview with Williams' mother is inspired by Elon Musk's claim that astronauts are stuck for “political reasons.”

“We're accelerating the return of astronauts. Astronauts have been postponed to an incredible extent,” Musk said in an interview with Fox News, “They're there for political reasons. It was left in, but that's not good.”

The allegations struck Danish astronaut and former commander of Itz Andreas Morgensen.

“What a lie,” Morgensen replied with an X. “And from people complaining about the lack of integrity from the mainstream media.”

Musk replied that Morgensen is “completely behind” and claimed that he was turned down after offering to the Biden administration to rescue the astronauts.

However, Williams' mother told News Nation that the astronaut's daughter had no interest in her back and forth and she wanted to focus on the benefits of space exploration.

“I don't think it should be political,” Pandia said. “That's what they do. She's doing what she loves. So how can I feel any sadness about it? I'm happy with her. ”
