Daily Show Host John Stewart slashed his hands hard as he pounded his desk and pounded his coffee mug during a tilade against the cuts in federal spending as revealed by Elon Musk's Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Stewart launched a segment that acts as if he were in favour of government cost reductions, suggesting that it was corporate subsidies and defence spending instead of the cuts that Doge has previously identified.
“Why not take $3 billion in subsidies to provide to oil and gas companies that have already made billions of profits? How long has that taken? Ah, wait. A beneficial loophole for hedge funds How about just closing it? That's $1.3 billion a year,” he cried.
He continues, “Ah, to stop the $2 trillion we gave to defense contractors and build fighters that will blow away when we know that the next war will fight drones and blockchain. How about us?”
“Holy shit! The comedian cried out. “I saved billions of dollars in 11 seconds! Call me a big ball!”
Stewart targeted drug companies to “permit” Americans to negotiate drug prices after receiving the subsidy.
“I hope that's a small drop in the bucket and that Americans are already paying their subsidies, so we should negotiate for all their fucking drugs. If not, that would be embarrassing! Damn thank you! Come on!” he cried, slamming the table.
But as he slammed the table, his fist came down to a ceramic coffee cup, crushing it and opening some of his fingers.
“I'll go to the hospital,” he said grossly after a glance at his bloody fingers.

But before that, Stewart attacked the entire idea of Doge, who was simply built on “hatred.”
Before slashing his fingers with the cup, Stewart showed that Doge thinks he is “animated by Maris” with a “rash.”
“This Doge project is animated by Malice for administrators, and is a seemingly rash, and sometimes rushes to block government functions. On Doge's website, only savings are worth it. cried.
Stewart did not cite any instances where “critical government functions” have been cut by Doge, as there are no such cases.
Moreover, while Japanese quail on addicts' cocaine is contrary to the fact that defense spending is in fact a legitimate constitutional expenditure, birds addicts' to cocaine are not. There is no suggestion that defence spending should be cut before funding.
Of course, Doge already notes that defense spending will be investigated. Therefore, Stewart cannot set points.
