Footage from the arrest of PGA Tour star Scotty Scheffler revealed a strange conversation between a golfer and the police.
Schaeffler, the world's number one golfer, was arrested in May 2024 and charged with felony assault after refusing to stop at the scene of an accident near the entrance to the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky . Schaeffler was about to take part in the PGA Championship tournament, but police said he was about to run around the crash scene despite the police telling him to stop.

It appears that officers don't know who the golfer is – despite being only feet from the entrance to the tournament – he pointed out that Schaeffler must be “pretty good” if he plays for the PGA.
“It's fine,” replied Schaeffler.

Schaeffler cut him off: “He's pretty good.”
Aside from the early arrests, Schaeffler won the outstanding 2024 in 2024, winning the PGA Tour Championship and gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
