Fox News’s Kat Timpf Reveals Breast Cancer Diagnosis in Birth Announcement

Fox News co-host Kat Timpf revealed on Tuesday that he had been diagnosed with breast cancer and announced the birth of his son.

“Unconventional Birth Announcement,” TIMPF began on Tuesday's X-Post, saying, “Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About 15 hours before I entered labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.”

“Now before I worry, my doctor said it was stage 0 and I'm pretty sure it's almost certainly not spreading,” TIMPF added. “Or, like I've explained to the few people I've ever been able to talk about it, I've been able to talk about it: Don't be surprised, it's a bit of a cancer.”

Fox News contributors continued:

Still, it wasn't a cold day. To say the least! I was completely consumed by doing everything I could to get rid of my baby, awakening a pregnancy that was more pregnant than a week. In the afternoon, I was talking about how to get rid of cancer, from appointment to appointment. I sat down and listened as they said the best course of action would be a double mastectomy as soon as possible. I got a copy of the tumor ultrasound and asked every single question I could, including whether it could be placed in the fridge next to the baby's ultrasound. Finally, by midnight, I was raw around the apartment floors with voluntary labor. After that, I headed to the hospital and met the baby, who was my son at birth.

“Good news? People working in hospitals create great audiences for dark humor – and as someone like that The first book It was about the power of jokes to get through traumatic situations, but there was really no better place for me to be there,” Timpf said.

“A few minutes after my boy was born, I was talking to the nurse about what a birth announcement would look like in my situation,” she added.

TIMPF joked about the issue, saying, “The mother and baby should be doing well except for cancer. And after breastfeeding, do the baby turn off the phone for a week after being blocked by a double mastectomy?”

“Anyway! These next three months of maternity leave will look very different from what I was expecting. I'm still getting used to the new reality,” the Fox News host added, “Even so, I'm learning to celebrate everything I can, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancers).

Timpf then believes that her child saved her life. I am lucky to be my son's mother. I mean, I know I have bias, but little guys definitely do the rules.

“I'm grateful for your support, laughter and love as I accept this very unexpected chapter. TIMPF is about finding resilience, a miracle in the middle of chaos, and even on the toughest days,” concluded in her X-Post.

TIMPF, who married Cameron Flicia in 2021, announced last summer that she and her husband were hoping for their first child.
