Trump taps Hung Cao to serve as No. 2 Navy official

President Trump has appointed Han Kao, a former Virginia Republican Senate candidate. Hang Khao is an outspoken supporter of strengthening military service standards to serve as Secretary of the Navy on Thursday.

“The hang is an embodiment of the American Dream,” Trump said of his choice as the second-highest ranking navy official.

“As a refugee to our great nation, Hang has tirelessly worked to be proud of the country that gave his family a home,” the president added. “He went to our incredible US Naval Academy and later earned a Masters degree in Physics.”

“Hung served in combat as a special operations officer for 25 years. With both the experience of hanging in combat and the Pentagon, he gets the job done. Congratulations to Hung and his amazing family!”

Cao, who ran a longshot campaign to remove Sen. Tim Kane (D-Va.) in Virginia last year, issued word-of-mouth on social media after discussions with the incumbent who fought over “drug queens” and other diversity, equity (DEI) initiatives.

The retired navy captain argued that service branches should recruit “alpha men and alpha women who are trying to tear their courage, eat, and seek seconds.”

“They are young men and women who are planning on winning the war,” the CAO insisted.

“When we use drag queens to employ them for the Navy, that's not the people we want,” he said.

Last month, Trump instructed the military to scrap the DEI initiative implemented by former President Joe Biden.

Cao, whose Senate bid was approved by Trump, thanked him for his nomination for president on Thursday, tweeted, “It's time to go to work.”

He demands Senate approval to serve the role.
