Florida first lady gives hint on possible run for governor

Florida first lady Casey DeSantis only provided tips on whether or not to run for governor in 2026 due to term restrictions.

Since 2026, there have been many speculations and reports that DeSantis wanted his wife to be his successor.

While speaking at Florida International University, Mrs. DeSantis was asked about the topic and she was I said“Well, I'll say one thing. To quote the great Yogi Bella, “If you come to the fork on the road, take it.”

“I would like to focus on establishing the '24 election, not on the 26 election.”

“You guys can read that,” Gov. DeSantis said. “Look, I have come to me for years and begged you to put her in the fight, because you think you are watching in her presentation.

DeSantis told him that the late Rush Limbaugh once told him he was always worried about a Republican wife pulling her husband to the left in question. However, Limbaugh added that he has no such concerns with Casey.

DeSantis continued to praise his wife and the work she did as the first woman to tackle behavioral health, substance abuse, and child welfare issues in the state.

If the First Lady enters the race, President Trump will once again set up a brutal primary between DeSantis and Trump's side, as he already supports Rep. Byron Donald (R) for the position.

When asked by Blaze Media about Donald's race on Wednesday, Desantis said he wanted to focus on getting things done to make Trump's agenda come true, including a massive deportation.

“I would like to focus on establishing the 24th year election by showing that this work is finished here, rather than the 26 year election,” replied Desantis.

“You have these elections, and people start talking about new elections. Why don't we actually accomplish anything based on the previous elections? And I think President Trump deserves all Republicans who support those efforts, especially. That's what we're doing here,” he said.
