The Dodgers toy Porsche Carbit was brought to 2025, but this time manager Dave Roberts has some interest in the mischief war.
After receiving two toy prank Porsche cars, Roberts finally returned to Shohai Otani on Friday night by filling the Dodgers star car with a ball pit-like ball that had collapsed from the car when Otani opened the driver door of his Porsche.
Otani couldn't help but laugh.
He was then shown a video by Roberts about the prank.
“Thank you very much. You got me your first round,” Roberts said. “I told you, 'You know what they say about the reward.” So what I did is, do you see this cute face here? It's me who has all these balls and I put all these balls in your car. So have fun. Keep these photos and have fun cleaning your car. ”
The 30-year-old Otani didn't say “nothing” when asked with a laugh.
“I don't know. It's a bit troublesome.”
During the 2024 season, Otani not only became the first player in MLB history to score 50-50 years on 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases, but also became the Dodgers' best home run leader of all time after hitting his eighth home run on May 4th.
Roberts previously held the record after hitting seven home runs over three seasons with the Dodgers.
Breaking it, Otani gave him a Porsche and called back when the 2024 NL MVP gave Joe Kelly's wife Ashley a talented Porsche and a talented Porsche.
But Roberts' Porsche was a toy car, not a real deal.
Before the next season, Otani made another attempt to celebrate the feat by gifting a slightly upgraded toy toy on February 16th, but still remained far from Street Legal.
Roberts was waiting for his new porch in the parking space at Camelback Ranch in Arizona.
On Friday, Otani also hit a home run in his first spring training in a 6-5 victory for the Dodgers with the Angels.
