This week, the hands-on experience with the Red Wings looked dramatically different. The Detroit NHL franchise skated around a temporary rink in the middle of Ohio Stadium, home to the Ohio Buckeyes soccer team.
Standing up at Wolverine and Hockey Starmham in Michigan, Dylan Larkin was critical of the aesthetics of the football stadium.
“It's probably the most gli stadium I've ever been,” Larkin said.
The Red Wings were in Columbus, Ohio on Friday for practice with the Blue Jackets in Saturday's Stadium Series game.

“It's cool to play hockey outside,” Larkin told reporters. “There's a lot of excitement around everyone, and it's pretty cool to do something different.”
The red wings and blue jacket are the tie that enters the game on Saturday and is one of the wild card spots at the Eastern Conference.

The forecast requires temperatures in your 20s when the pack drops. Windgust can also cause some issues for players.
Patrick Kane of Detroit, who played in several outdoor hockey games, spoke about the weather.
