Bondi says she was misled on Epstein documents

Attorney General Pam Bondy was fooled for thinking that there were all the files involved in the investigation of dishonest financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, she told Fox News host Mark Levin over the weekend, defending Thursday's widely mimicked document dump.

“I kept saying, there needs to be more. There needs to be more.” Bondi said on Saturday. “I was sure that was all.”

Hobnobbing alongside celebrities, royals and other powerful people, Epstein died of suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Bondi said he discovered it from a “whistleblower” after releasing a 100-page flight log and Epstein contact list. She is currently seeking additional information through the FBI.

Bondi vowed that Americans would eventually see the “complete Epstein Files.”

“We'll get everything,” she told Levin. “We own it. Of course we edit it to protect the information and confidential witnesses of the Great Ju Court, but Americans have a right to know.”

Before last week's highly anticipated document release, Bondi had promoted revelation in several interviews without details, but described Epstein's actions as “pretty sick.”

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) said the disruption created a bad day for the White House.

“It wasn't a good day for the administration. Looking at traffic online with the release of Epstein, I've never seen the left and right together in a fiasco that contains Epstein files,” Moskowitz told CNN's “News Night” on Thursday.
