German soccer match cancelled after child bites referee’s testicle

German stories are incredible, so we wouldn't have thought it was real, except for the fact that soccer has a constant way to kick out the strangest moments in the sport.

Over the weekend, the match between German 8th Division's FC Taxi Duisburg II and SV Rot-Weiss Mülheim had to be cancelled in order for a little kid on the field to run to referee Stefan Curler and bit the test circle.

The incident occurred while Curler was doing a typical pre-game ID check of a playerin low division football, everyone is common to ensure who they are. Then it happened…

“A little kid was doing warm-up exercises with the player while checking the FC taxi player ID. He came up to me and suddenly – to my complete surprise – gave me a sharp bite to my left test circle,” Curler said in a report obtained by the outlet.

Kahler went on to say that he was unable to start the game due to the pain he was in and that the match must be rescheduled at a later date. It is unclear if Curler has the ball to host it for the second time.

There is reportedly no reason why a child belonging to a FC taxi player was trained to bite a test circle like a police dog.
