Actress Aeon Sky, best known for her role in the 1989 teenage rom-com “Say Anything,” details numerous relationships between men and women in her memoir “Say Everything.”
Sky, 54, set out for his first serious relationship with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis.
But before Kiedis, she attempts to plead for Keanu Reeves on the set of the 1986 flick “The End of the River.”
She also had a delicious make-out scene with the Phoenix River on the set of “Jimmy Reardon's Night of Life,” but that didn't develop any further as he was dating Martha Plimpton.
When Sky finally meets Kiedis, whom she has new to rehabilitation due to heroin addiction, she writes that their chemistry was immediate.
“We were in full swing right away, and it happened quickly,” she says.
However, Kiedis's drinking after rehab did not last long.
“Suddenly, he began to disappear from bulimia. The slow motion heroin rampage lasted for about three days… The rampage scared me,” she wrote, adding that sometimes she drove all night to find him from his usual drug native.
Skye began to separate during filming “anything” and even developed feelings for co-star John Cusack, but nothing happened.
(Sky and Cusack slept together many years after their divorce, but autobiographically says, “Now we knew we were only going to fall in love in movies.”)
When she turned 18, Sky met Adam Horowitz, a member of the Beastie Boys, “the first great love of my life.”
The two met her brother, actor and model Donovan Retch through Sky. Their first kiss said “it was grossly romantic.”
Skye was only 21 years old and they married when they were Horowitz 25.
No matter how much they love each other and are best friends, Skye admits that monogamy is a problem.
“I was a serial con man,” she wrote, speculating that it was “a clear indication of my deep anxiety and the need for verification,” and believed it would stop at Horowitz.
Unfortunately, it wasn't, and she explored her appeal to women.
The problems continued with the model Alice Temple, Madonna's ex-lovers Ingrid Casares and Jenny Shimizu.
Skye writes that Shimizu is “a stunning lover and sometimes a dominant lover. She held this vibe as she did not use a whip or handcuff the bed,” she says, adding that her sexually safe word is “London.”
The two used adult toys, and Skye “feeled poor and devoted… but Jenny didn't want me to be her dog. She left for modeling work shortly afterwards and didn't come back to me except as a good friend,” she writes.
Eventually, Horowitz, who knew about his wife's problems, was tired of them and the two split up.
Although his brief relationship with furniture designer David Nett brought the birth of his daughter Kate in 2001, Sky will find true happiness with Australian musician Ben Lee (46).
The two married in 2008 and the following year they welcomed a daughter named Goldie.
