The Jets finished another failed experiment by moving out of Davante Adams on Tuesday.
The Jets released Adams as expected from the moment they decided to say goodbye to Aaron Rodgers, sources told the Post.
The Jets traded three-round picks (73 overall) in the Raiders' upcoming draft as Adams' 11-game loan.
The trade came as the Jets were trying to save the 2024 season, even after the fired head coach Robert Saleh.
Adams produced 67 catches for 854 yards in 11 games and seven touchdowns, but was unable to prevent the Jets from sputtering onto a 5-12 record.
By releasing Adams, Jets saves just over $32 million in pay cap space and underwrites a dead cap fee of $6.2 million.

The Jets wanted to deal with Adams, but that was an unrealistic scenario as there was no team to inherit his hopper on salary in the final year of his contract.
