Andy Cohen, the talk show host best known as the face of Bravo TV's “Watch What Happes Live,” has been caught up in a social media debate over trans-inclusion in women's sports with Meghan McCain and former volleyball player Payton McNabb.
Cohen began the discussion when he responded to McCain's post. She praised 19-year-old McNab as “incredibly clever, strong, brave and brave.”
“We were surprised to find that we were buying slander of the trans community given the real issues that are happening in this country, our previous allies of the LGBTQ community and the fact that this non-problem affects around four people in this country,” Cohen wrote in the post.
McNabb then responded to Cohen's attack on McCain, calling his comments “effectively wrong.”

“Andy calls women's sports protections “non-problems” that affects “four people” more than simply dismiss it, it's effectively wrong. Hundreds of female athletes have lost their podiums, scholarships and opportunities. My own injuries were life-changing.
Cohen then responded to McNabb and admitted that his original response was based on one data provided by NCAA president Charlie Baker in December.
“The NCAA president testified under the oath of over 500,000 student-athletes. He knows fewer than 10 trans members, and that's what got my information,” Cohen wrote, referring to Baker's statistics provided at the December 17th Congressional hearing.
Cohen did not describe athletes affected at high school or other levels of competition. Cohen has not responded since his last post at publication.

The exchange between McCain and McNabb quickly went viral on Tuesday evening. Because many people lined up to harshly criticize Bravo's character for his criticism of his post to celebrate his 19th year.
McCain answered, inviting Coen to a more detailed conversation about the issue, making the host more clear about McNabb's situation.
“I'm surprised that violence against female athletes is okay. Payton suffered serious brain damage – just one story.

McNabb suffered serious and long-term physical and mental injuries in 2022 when he surged his face by trans athletes who were able to compete in women's teams due to policies set by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
McNab subsequently failed to compete in her last volleyball season, claiming that her performance in softball was significantly hampered by her injuries.
McNabb will be attending President Donald Trump's joint speech Tuesday night, a day after Senate Democrats blocked a bill that would ban women and girls in sports across the country.
