UK Defence Minister Goes to Washington, Hails ‘Special Relationship’

British Secretary of State John Healy will travel to Washington this week to discuss the men's progress as they work ahead of time towards peace in Ukraine.

Defense Minister Healy welcomed the state of “special relationship.” It was created by a common language, heritage and freedom, formalized by World War II, and prepared to travel to Washington, DC for the Ukrainian War consultations. Like how to bring peace to Eastern Europe along with Secretary of Defense Higces, Healy is also expected to discuss the new “Occas” nuclear submarine triad between the US, UK and Australia, and will be attending an event commemorating the US Marines' 250th birthday.

Visits come at a critical time for Europe. British Prime Minister Kiel's well-received visit to Trump in the White House, Ukrainian President Voldy Mir Zelensky's disastrous attempts to make Trump in front of news cameras in the oval office, and slowly ready for Zelensky's reddance and facts. President Trump withheld US aid to Ukraine until Zelensky agrees to come to the negotiation table, and British Ir Kiel is attempting to play a leading role as the “bridge” between the US and the EU, which has been bolstered by an incredibly successful bid to establish good personal trust with the president.

The purpose of Healy's trip is to promote those relationships and advance peace, he said in a statement before departing ahead of the meeting in Washington on Wednesday and Thursday. “In a period of growing global instability, the unique and special relationship between the UK and the US is highlighted by a common commitment to freedom and democracy,” he said.

“It is important that the UK and Europe further strengthen our responsibility to take more responsibility for our security. We are doing so. In the face of an increasing number of global threats, we are solidifying our ties as NATO ally, strengthening our national and economic security,” he said.

As for what's coming now, Healy said this week he would “advance” his work to secure Washington's “path to lasting peace in Ukraine.”

All European leaders seem to understand fundamentally because the US can always take up slack, and the era of total underinvestment in defense is closer, but how they respond will vary widely. On the one hand, the British approach that Healy is talking about is to embrace the times are changing and encourage other NATO members to pick up sagging.

This seems to work, and even when, as in the UK, the actual boost to defence spending can be ignored, such rhetoric is warmly accepted in Washington.

Meanwhile, some European leaders have supported their defensive spending and military stance, but in public we cannot see them agreeing to the fashionable European president Trump. The somewhat cynical answer to this conundrum is to framing what Trump wants to do, but as an act of rebellion, it lights up America and boosts Europe's defense.

As Ukrainian President Zelensky wrote to President Trump, Healy's comments on moving forward on the path to peace, said in his speech to Congress that he had a change of heart and was ready to sign a mineral trade. President Trump said he appreciated the gesture and said it read. Ukraine is always ready to sign on minerals and security agreements, but that's convenient for you. ”
