Crosby was two years left on the four-year, $94 million contract he signed in 2022 when his rookie contract ended. Now, with his new record-breaking expansion, Crosby remains a defensive piece of Las Vegas cornerstone, until 2030, when he sets up unlimited free agency.
Crosby posted a hype video on his X account after the team announced the move.
He also spoke to Fox News Digital about his excitement for the future under new head coach Pete Carroll, who has already been infected with energy, during Super Bowl Ricks Week in New Orleans.
“For me, I'm an optimistic person. I want to be a winner, I want a chance to win,” Crosby said. “It's encouraged by everything I've seen so far. So I take it one step at a time and see how it all works. But I'm certainly excited for the future.”
Maxx Crosby of Raiders shares his admiration for Trump and details his relationship with the president: “treated me incredible.”
Crosby wasn't the biggest outlook coming out of eastern Michigan, but he was the definition of work ethic and resolve that would be an absolute force in the line of scrimmage, as he led to a second-day pick in the draft class.

However, his presence was immediately felt from AFC West, collecting 10.0 sacks, 47 combined tackles and four forced fumbles in 2019 in 16 games (10 starts) for the Raiders.
Crosby created four straight Pro Bowls from 2021-24, defeating the NFL in 2022 and 2023. He also had 12.5 and 14.5 sacks, respectively, in those seasons.
Crosby had to deal with injuries in the Las Vegas Rough 2024 campaign, but he still lost 7.5 sacks and 17 tackles in 12 games. Rollovers of coaches and trade rumours have been accumulating over the years as Las Vegas has not achieved consistent victory since 2021 and since its last playoff berth.
But Carroll, carrying the championship pedigree with the Super Bowl and NCAA titles, is eager to optimism.
