Hunter Renflo is not yet ready to cut his cleats, even if the internet appears to have already retired on Wednesday.
The former Raiders wide receiver shot down rumors that he announced his retirement in a social media post after news was around social media.
“When I think about making a comeback, I'm hit by this bomb… I don't think I should have started working out again two months ago lol.” Renflo wrote along with the post It showed that the former Raider had retired.
Renfrow was playing his entire NFL career with the Raiders after the organization chose him in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but was released in March 2024.
He didn't play during the 2024 season, but he was able to realize that there was demand in 2025.
He appears to suggest that if the team calls, they are ready.
After four years at Clemson, Renflo began his NFL career for three consecutive seasons with over 500 receiving yards, and spent his first over 1,000 yards of season in 2021.

That year he also recorded nine touchdown catches.
He was limited due to injuries during the 2022 season, but in 2023 he had the career worst 25 catches for 255 yards and no touchdowns.
