Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, took the victory lap after the Trump administration agreed to renegotiate funds for the Maine Sea grant.
Hudson, who is openly about being the proud daughter of Maine Fisherman, served as the voice of the Maine Fishermen's Forum as the federal funding program, Maine Sea Grant, was cut last Saturday.
Former National Champion Cheerleader I shared “the most amazing news” in my Instagram post. Maine Sen. Susan Collins thanked Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik for “the commitment to the Maine fishing community” and for “hearing our pleas.”
Hudson, 23, including a photo of her and Collins posing together, began her message saying, “The fisherman heard it!”
She used the hashtags “Trump Loves Fishermen” and “Save Main Fishermen.”
Last Saturday, Hudson spoke on behalf of the Maine Fishermen's Community and discussed the state of the industry at the Maine Fishermen's 50th Fishermen's Forum in Rockport, Maine.
Dressed in a blue tar heels sweatshirt, Belichick was there to help, as seen in photos posted on Hudson's Instagram.
The newly hired North Carolina football coach Hudson has been dating since 2022.
They published their relationship last June.
Hudson recently sent the White House and President Donald Trump on behalf of the Fisherman community to “revive the Maine Sea grant or present an appropriate alternative.”
The former pageant queen also shared some My own black and white images From the photo shoot, I tagged the White House and Trump on Instagram.
Hudson condemned the “reckless regulatory decisions by government officials” that caused “surgent cuts” to the Maine Sea grant in another Instagram post Tuesday.
“This news was a sudden cut in the federal funding program, “Main Sea Grant,” as it was a tsunami to the forum on Saturday. The program has been a pillar of marine research, sustainability and support for economic growth for over 50 years,” Hudson wrote. “The floor of the forum is filled with tears and fear.
“This decision only amplifies the uncertainty, anxiety and existential fear that already plagued Maine fishermen. It was a reckless regulatory decision by government officials that did not last for these decisions that forced my 9th generation fishermen's father out of the industry over 15 years ago. Don't let others get what we've experienced.”
Last October, Belichick and Hudson dressed as Halloween fishermen and mermaids.
