Taco Bell AI restaurant coach showcased in NYC this week

It was a big week for Yam brand Taco Bell as executives of the fast food giant held their annual live Más live event in New York City, showcasing new labor-saving technologies and unveiling a billion-dollar digital and technology investment.

Yum and Taco Bell executives have unveiled the “Yum by Yum” Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools” that will enable KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Habit Burger & Grill Restaurants to enable Habit Burger & Grill restaurants around the world.

To demonstrate the current and planned use of AI technology, Chief Operating Officer Jason Kidd showed Wall Street Analysts a video skit where the restaurant manager speaks to a human character playing the role of an AI assistant.

“I realized that Brad hasn't recorded for his shift yet, and you're heading to your last shift crew for the night,” the actor, who plays an AI assistant, speaks to Taco Bell's manager.
