Hangdog travel salesman Cliff (Scoot McNairy) has a hard time trying to start over when he hits former community Ricky (smirking Kit Harrington), a partner in embezzlement scams at his old company. Ricky offers him a simple job, driving drugs and guns from A to B, but inevitably there's nothing easy about it. A thriller with a Rod Blackhurst premonition – all dead motels and snowy Montana roads – has the pleasant echo of Fargo. Simon Wardell

Sylvester Stallone is not an idea for an elite rock climber. These biceps get in the way, but the halt of mistrust lies at the heart of Renee Harlin's sudden, fun 1993 action thriller. Sly plays the former Rockies Mountain rescuer who falls into a bank robber foul in search of a suitcase full of lost booty from a crashed plane, and his outdoor expertise helps him escape the clutch. Add a touch of class to stunt performers, vertical climbing, jumping, falling, and John Lithgow as a big buddy. SW
