This is the NBA Finals preview on Saturday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers are eight straight winners and face the Boston Celtics' governing NBA champion.
Los Angeles will come Saturday as a 4.5-point underdog in this matchup as the Lakers are taxing very emotional, mentally and physically on Thursday against the Knicks.
They wear down LeBron James and Lucadon Sic, stars of 44-43-minutes each.
It is unknown how much manager JJ Redick will be willing to put his shoulders on Saturday.
The Lakers fought for the victory on Thursday with double digits, but don't expect the Lakers to mortgage most of their season on Saturday in a game they absolutely don't need.
Lakers vs Celtics odds
| team | Spread it | Money Line | total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lakers | +4.5 (-105) | +160 | 225.5 or higher (-110) |
| Celtics | -4.5 (-115) | -190 | Less than 225.5 (-110) |
Lakers vs. Celtics prediction
Thursday's overtime victory was an incredible show as the Lakers had a defensive strength on another level.
Back from injury, their third best player, Austin Reeves, looked like his shell against the Knicks.
He was just 3 points, 1-7 from the 3-point range and 2-13 from the field.
This Lakers team will rely heavily on Reaves' playmaking ability on Saturday nights to speed up on this highly competitive roster.

James and Donsic are currently putting too much strain on the offensive side of the ball.
Reaves' points total is 17.5 and I'm betting for tonight's events as Redick is about to reestablish his security role in the attack.
Ultimately, I don't expect the Lakers to win this game.
The Celtics were basically sitting the whole team on Thursday, so unlike the exhausted Lakers, they're definitely resting.
Los Angeles' goals aren't just a victory, they're making Reeves more involved.
And that's where your money should go on a Saturday night.
