LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne missed out on Friday's senior night.

The 22-year-old New Jersey native announced in an Instagram post that he had a “away fracture of my patella” that would cost him a Friday night competition.

“It absolutely breaks my heart so that I don't get the chance to compete one last time (Pete Malavic Assembly Center),” Dan wrote.

The Cleveland Clinic defines an ablative fracture as an injury when “a small part of the bone attached to a tendon or ligament is pulled away from the main part of the bone.”

Friday marked the final home meeting of LSU, second-placed in the season, 198.575-197.175 No. 10 Georgia.
