The tense war of words between De'aaron Fox's wife Recee Fox and Malik Monk was all caught up in the video following Friday's Kings-Spurs game.
De'aaron returned to Sacramento for the first time since trading with the Spurs in February, and his wife and former teammates were found to be actively talking to each other after the King defeated the Spurs.
The monk and recee appear to be screaming at each other, and the wife of the NBA player could be seen slapping her fist in her hand.
At one point, another man tried to step between the two, and eventually Monk left.
Monk and Fox played together for Sacramento for part of their three seasons, and the two played together at University of Kentucky.
However, Fox's departure seemed to stir up some malice after mentioning how his new team felt like family.
“It was crazy, 'He was one of the reasons I came here.' The monk told reporters After Fox was traded. “But we had to move on. I know it's business. The look on them meant they said he wanted to get out of here, so he got what he wanted.”
Fox returned to social media and eventually deleted the post.
“Everyone talks about dysfunction, but yeah, that's my fault,” read the post.
In his first game at Sacramento, Fox scored 16 points and he shot 17-for-6 from the field.
“I haven't made a shot in two weeks, man,” Fox said of his return performance. All ESPN. “If I change teams, I'll play at some point [former] team. I think it was good. I'm not saying I'm really emotional. but [the tribute] It was amazing. I've been here for a long time, but it's been almost ten years. So I'm really grateful. ”
